Flautas Recipe
Ingredients:
16 rounded corn-tortillas
6 Tbsps of veggie oil
1/2 c of thick cream
1 c of chicken; shredded
1/2 c of cooked green or red tomatoes
Tomato-sauce
4 Tbsps of grated quesejo
Instructions:
Have tortillas heated quickly in heated griddle for them to be pliable. Overlap two tortillas slightly. Place 1 Tbsp chicken in every tortilla edge then roll lightly. Use toothpicks as necessary to seal.
Have oil heated in fry pan then fry your flautas on high-heat for 2-3 mins ’til sides are lightly-golden. Let them drain well on paper-towels then you transfer them into platter.
Pour over some of the sauce then top w/ cream. Sprinkle w/ cheese then serve at once.
