Habanero Pepper Sauce Recipe
Instructions:
12 stemmed chiles (Habanero); chopped
2 garlic cloves; minced
1/2 c of carrots; chopped
1/4 c lime-juice
1/2 c of onions; chopped
1 Tbsp of oil (vegetable)
1/2 c of vinegar (distilled)
Instructions:
Have the garlic & onions sauteed in heated oil ’til soft. You add carrots w/ some water. Allow to boil then reduce heat & simmer ’til carrots turn soft. Pour mixture w/ chiles into blended then pulse ’til pureed smoothly.
Combine your puree w/ juice of lime & vinegar. Have mixture simmered about 5 mins. Strain into clean bottles & tightly seal.
