El Torito’s Enchilada Sauce Recipe
Instructions:
2 Tbsps of veggie oil
1/4 c of mild red-chile powder
2 c of canned puree of tomatoes
1/4 tsp of cumin
1 tsp of salt
2 Tbsps of flour
2 c of fresh beef stock
1/2 tsp of dried oregano
1/2 tsp of garlic (granulated)
Instructions:
Have oil heated in saucepan. You add flour then create your roux. Cook & stir over mid-heat for about 2 mins ’til browned.
Add powdered chile, beef stock, oregano, puree, salt & garlic then simmer mixture over low-heat for about 15 mins.
