Carne Asada Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pc of steak (top sirloin, 20 oz)
1/2 tsp of salt
2 Tbsps of oil (vegetable oil)
1/2 tsp of crushed oregano (dried)
1/4 tsp of pepper; ground coarsely
1/4 c of juice (orange)
1 Tbsp of juice (lime)
2 tsps of vinegar (cider)
2 pcs of orange slices (1/2-inch thick)
Instructions:
Put steak inside a baking glass dish then rub oil onto both sides. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and oregano; rub them well. Sprinkle vinegar and juices; place inside the refrigerator, covered, for some hours or overnight, turn occasionally.
Take the meat out from the refrigerator and let it set at room temp. Preheat grill and cook steak; top slices of orange. Spoon over saved marinade during cooking; grill for 3 to 4 mins per side for medium-rare or cook it longer as desired.
